RE: Fletching with Feathers?
My all time favorite is turkey feathers. I burn my own, so I like to try all kinds. Turkey is by far my favorite. Im going to fletch up a bunch more later on this year with goose feathers. Russ (Kanga) and I were talking about goose feathers, last time he was down, and it only makes since. They are naturally oily, and should hold up well in damp weather. Ive just got to go out and find where the outfitters are cleaning their geese and get a bunch of wing feathers. If I cant find any, ive got a bunch of turkey wing feathers to tieme over.
