Default RE: Turkey Hunting/ success & failure

Success: My success is just being in the woods and getting a turkey to respond to my ridiculously poor calling...grantedI do practice I still think its terrible! I also think my success isthe time spent in the woods scouting and enjoying what thegood Lord has given us! I also think that success is learning from my mistakes... last year I was busted 2 times due to me being stupid! 1 time forplain not beingreadyand the other just because I could not sit still.

I have yet to score but that is because of my errors... Shooting at a bird from a bad position, Shooting at a bird that was outside my guns effective range, allowing myself to get "turkey fever", poor shooting form/skill sets ie jerking the trigger, not focusing on my sights, and last but not least tons of impatience

In response to SwampCollie: When I do go out I can say that I do expect to harvet a bird everytime... Granted the odds of that happening are small but I still believe that I will kill a bird! When I get to the point where I believe I wont kill a bird... Well that day will never come so I have nothing to worry about!
