To shorten the draw some you can untwist the cables and or twist up the string. With Mathews bows, or most of them anyway this is the only way to make adjustments to the draw length. If it is still to short after twisting up the string and untwisting the cables you may need to get a new cam with a 1/2" shorter draw length. This is why Mathews sells cams in 1/2" sizes.
