I would absolutely take off the scope and the mounts, lock tight all of the screws, put it back together, and re-zero it in. I've done this with all of my scopes. They should never move, and you shouldn't have to constantly retighten the screws. If there's the slightest scope movement at all, you will never shoot accurately consistantly.
