Thanks Dave for the ongoing information... I am taking the Omega to the farm, hopefully tomorrow, for continued testing of the BC; but it looks like I need to try some of the cowboyblend. Why did youchooseCowboy Blend over the regular Bore Solvent?
It was recommended by Don at Western Powder. I wonder if this is not the solvent those black powder cowboy shooters use? It says on the bottle it removes all powder fowling, and lead.
The big question is - will it make a difference in accuracy and/or first shot consistency. I really don't much care about fouling build up during a shoot because swab between shots anyway.
I sure want to find out. I want that rifle to sit a day or two and then shoot it again and see what happens..
