Was going to cast some round balls today but i wanted to get a head start on an area recently cut. I hooked the ripper up to the atv and went out back. My first dozen or so passes was basically to pull out all of the sticks -leaves - pine needles.
I used the front plow to push some brush back further and clean up some mounds that were all lumpy, then i backed up to the starting point, dropped the ripper and went to work.
Took me a while to get to where i am now,but its digging in 3" and turning up the soil and also tearing out huge roots and rocks that i couldnt get out before.
First 3 passes ( one pass per row) Still a good # of junk on ground-
Many many passes later LOL,
Everything on the left side of the trail comes out - Except for the BIG trees,
Nearest ripping path was my last drop for the day,
Sandy Soil- Some years ago i accidently spilled oats and they ended up growing pretty well so i figured i would do this area with Oats and mix in some fine blade grass seed.

Made from a reciever hitch LOL
Tomorrow if its nice out i am going to add some weight to the Ripper and it will get it better and really rear things up.
