A 20" smallie is my equivalent of P&Y buck.
A 20" river smallie is definitely a heck of a fish. MI has a few rivers with WI type P&Y numbers. As far as lakes go, it's hard NOT to catch a handful of 20" smallies in late May through late June...even on a fly.

A few nice river smallies caught on flies.









A 22.5", 6lb+LSC pig caught on a fly.



Some nice UP lake smallies.
