Phil, or other members from Maine.

I post this here because I know Phil and I believe other members from Maine actively use the fishing forum.



Anyway, my reasoning for posting is because while at college today I recieved a paper of the 2008-2009 Service Learning Trips that the college is taking.

One that really caught my eye is to Acadia, Maine.

The description reads, "Students drive to Maine and participate in rugged outdoor work while living on Acadia Island for a week. Service includes working with the National Park on outdoor environmental projects. Date: October 17-25th, 2009. Cost: $175 per student."

Beside the point of service work, we do have time to ourselves to maybe... ummm, *fish* or something, but I don't know if I could resist a trip to such a beautiful place all the way from Michigan, a weeks stay, and food included for $175-$200.


Do you have any information on the area, or any other input?
