Btb, what is your problem? You claim not to be a pgc "yes man" but that sure doesnt look that way to many people.
Why are you concerned with "both sides" being heard?? You know darn well everyone is being heard loud and clear. It isnt exactly as if bb is a moderator here or administrator and hes banning people or editing to control their views as happens on hpa....or even over on bowsite where crossbow talk is no longer permitted due to ubps desire to "mend fences" with pgc. They dont want to put off a bad vibe with all the guys complaining. I didnt realize bowsite was hpa the junior bowhunting edition.
I can tell you, that representatives and commissioners alike read some of these boards and what is it you wish to convey to them, because due to all your contradictory posts, it sure isnt very clear.
You either want change or you don't. And to dilly dally around like I want this little change....er maybe...but um...ok if not too... Id say you are seen as a pgc 100% as is supporter or someone who doesnt care one way or another about anything. And if you don't care one way or another I don't see the reason why you even bother arguing so vigorously against those that do.. What are you afraid of?? That pgc is gonna all of a sudden allow 2 million deer to be had??[8D] There is much middle ground and very solid positioning to be had that is both scientifically sound and a helluva lot more hunter friendly than we have right now. Don't you think it about time you pick a position and stick with it?
You are delerious arent you? BB specifically tried to discourage blkpowder from inviting a PGC employee to meet with his sportsmans club. That was my response to him in that context. What are you and he afraid will happen if such an exchange takes place?
I have a position. Sorry you're so upset to find that just because I have issues with the PGC and some of it'smanagement policies doesnt mean that I'm still not ready to buy yours and BB's Koolaid.
If I hurt your feelings by first expressing my displeaure with certain PGC decisions and statements only to also find some middle ground that you happen to disagree with, well, I guess you'll just have to live with it
I agree that the herd needed reduced.
I agree that AR has helped improve the quality of our average buck.
I believe that we have done that and we now need to keep stable in most areas.
I belive that good quality hunting exists for those who are flexible enough, smart enough, to adapt.
I beleive a guy who only manages to see three deer in a season is not adaptable, and is probably too lacking in deer knowledge to bequalified to speak on behalf of all deer hunters.
I beleive that I don't know all the facts and that relying on the work of countless wildlife professionals is the wise way to go when forming opinions.
I beleive that my opinions are mine and Just becausethey dont fallneatly in your corner or possibly in anyone elses is simply too bad.
