Have used JSG in the past. Still have some in my junk room. My longest muzzleloader shot was with JSG-a hog at ameasured 192 yards. Never tried JSG with conicals so i have no idea about that. JSG likes a tight fitting sabot that is seated very hard on the powder. You can feel it compress.
