Thats what im doing on this bow. I only worked on this bow about 45min last night. IF you have a flat design, just tiller it like a D bow. If you have reflex in it, do not try to soften you reflexed portion to much. It will look like it needs it, but once you put on a short string and brace it, the outer limbs will bend much more. Like I said, if you soften the midlimbs, while on a long string, you will end up with hinged midlimbs. I know i called my long string a , "short long string." Never the less, its still a long string. If I get a chance to work on it tonight, Ill show you how the midlimb looks different when drawn on a short string.

My fades look like they are bending too much, thats because of the deflex I put in. A deflexed riser will always look like the fades are bending too much. I watched the fades and the entire limb when I exercise the limbs to insure the limbs are working the way they should.
