The thing that I don't really understand is why they allow a given piece of equipment (scoped CB's) to be legal for so long, especially in the special regs area's, then say that they (scopes larger than 1x)aren't legal? This means MANY guys will have to get rid of/sell their scopes that they've been using since the beginning, because of this new piece of law.
In other words, if they were OK for the past6-7 or what ever number of years, why are they not OK now? This is where they loose me. I can understand the change in what season they can be used in (popular opinion/yea right

), but I don't get the change in the legality of scope power! This makes ZERO sense, much like a lot of the laws here in Pa. Kind of like NO SUNDAY HUNTING!!! But I won't go there right now.

from what i hear, they are doing away with the DISABLED PERMIT,its not needed now that crossbows are legal.
i heard that they may let hunters with former disabled permits too continue to use their scopes but anyone else cannot use anything above a 1x scope.
this is what i am hearingand could be changed in april.
