RE: crossbows approved
"When only the bow hunters speak their opinions at these hearings and so on"
The commissioners emails, phone and mailbox accepts correspondence from bowhunters, rifle hunter, muzzleloader hunters and even birdwatchers. Pgc asked for input, got it, then did just the opposite. Not my opinion. Thats what happened. i dont expect them to play guessing games or look into crystal balls. If they announce a request for public input, it shouldve been used when they got their response. Btw, I have friends that dont bow hunt that also have contacted pgc and said NO to crossbows.
"I am surprised your PGC didn't have it set up that way to check your previous deer harvest with a questionaire like that. You had to fill out the report card before you got your new license of your harvest the year before. "
People have been asking for such a poll that could include many issues. Fact is, Pgc doesnt care ONE BIT about what the hunters want. The crossbows arent the only issue. This has been a recurring theme for nearly a decade now. They hold open houses on most issues of significance and then do exactly the opposite of what the hunters want that give their opinions.
