Cheque the state you are hunting, that is if your comeing out west as some states don' t allow mechanicals. I have never used mechanicals so I can' t really comment on them other than problems from those that have used them, the muzzys or thunderheads are about the best fixed broadheads that you could use, just gotta hit em in the ole bead basket and practice some of those 30 yd. shots.
