Dr. Kroll is best known for his work with white-tailed deer throughout the United States. He is the author of ten books, five videos, has a regular presentation on the Fox Outdoors Network and writes for 38 outdoor magazines. A distinguished graduate of Texas A&M University, he came to SFA in 1973 to develop a wildlife teaching and research program. He was awarded the highest honor possible for a SFA professor, the Regents' Professorship and is an Alumni Association Distinguished Professor.
