RE: Rubber boots or leather for scent control?
I hate the feel of rubber boots. I generally walk in a good distance to my hunting spots and rubber boots don't offer much support. That being said, I still know that rubber boots are a lot better at eliminating scent left on the ground. I have had deer cut my tracks while wearing rubber boots and barely flinch, whereas they have cut my tracks with leather boots and froze up. If I could find a comfortable pair of rubber boots that offered great arch support, I would buy them in a second.
