dtabor,
I hear what your saying and this point has been brought up many times in the past. The " idea" of the wisker bisquit is that there is completely even contact with all the flechings. Personally, I use the WB and find that it is deadly accurate, consistant, quiet, fast, and worry-free (worry-free = I don' t worry as much about something going wrong with the rest) when hunting. It might not be the best rest out there and there is a slight loss in fps, but the bottom line is that it works. I was a skeptic before i used it and that skepticism carried through a couple hundred shots. Now that i' ve been using it, and have it properly tuned, I wouldn' t trade it for anything. There are good alternatives to the WB too so be sure to check those out also. In my opinion, try it and then make judgment, you might find that even though it goes against the industry and everything you' ve learned, you just might like it.
Good luck out there,
BJ
