heres the new stain on it. Took me the entire day to strip it and get it back to where i needed it. I put 6 coats of BC walnut stain this time, and then 2 coats of dark walnut oil stain. Perfecto! Just wish i could keep a dull finish on it but, it happens.

i added some BLO to the tru-oil just now and wow does it help the tru-oil go on smooth! I was able to work just a tiny bit over a large area on the stock.
