I actually just used three different colors of stain. I used what they call "Natural" (light), "Golden Pecan" (darker), and "Dark Walnut"(darkest).

I did the whole thing in Natural just to get a little color on it. Just gave it a coat or two until I liked the color. Then I mixed some Pecan and Natural together and repeated it. Then I used just the Pecan around the bases and up the back where the "darker parts" would be. Once I was finished with that then I did the same with the Walnut.

Pretty easy really.

I'm not quite done yet. I'm gonna touch up a few of the lighter spots with some of the Dark Walnut.

One tip to give you though, is have a spare shed laying next to it that you can compare and match with. It really helped!
