it all went down the tubes today as i buffed the stock with 0000 steel wool. it bit to deep in a few areas and took off the color of my stain. Going to strip it down again tomorrow and start over again.

Going with a gloss finish next

I am trying to see if applying a thin layer of tru-oil will help hide it or not.

Lower stock area, starts in the middle of the patch box area and runs up to the tip of the patch box its all light colored now.
