22 hornet is an awesome yote round. I've taken one at 125 yds with a 17 hmr. They aint that hard to kill. If you need to stop them right there, a centerfire would be better, if you dont care if the things run off a 22lr would kill them at 75yds, but that is probaly the outer range.
