These new appointments REALLY SUCK.

Let' s see now - Does this make sense? A Lawyer, a treehugger and an over zealous gungrabber all appointed at the same time as State Game Commissioners.

It sounds like to me we are going to have the prettiest parks in the nation and we will not be able to hunt deer with firearms. Anything that you can hunt with a firearm that could be considered even remotely controversial now will be villified and those issues will now be shown in a new light. WE ARE SCREWED!! I' m waiting to see how long it will take for handguns to be banned for hunting again in this state. That really sucks because I love handgun hunting - and it' s jerks like these that think handguns have no place in the hunting fields.

I have a feeling I will be on my computer a lot firing E-mails and asking questions of the state and the gov' s office, and trying to get our state' s lethargic gun clubs activated for a good fight. I say that because in the hunting world here in Kansas the Gun clubs have been all but transparent. It will be interesting to see if this " wake up" call will get them motivated.

What the good gov. said with these apponitments is - I have my own agenda and I don' t care one bit about what is important to you. EVERY HUNTER in the state of Kansas should take this as the ultimate slap in the face.

What happened here is akin to haveing Bill Clinton appointed as a chapperone for your daughter. The antihunting-antigun movement has been set dead square in the middle of our state' s Game Commission.

I' m so damn mad I could spit nails. This cannot stand!!!!
