Good tip about double trees. I dont use ladder stands, but I use hanging stands on double trees a much as possible, Breaks up your outline, Hang your gun, gun rest, windblock, but most importantly for me is if its close enough you can lean into it while your hanging your stand. Makes life a whole lot easier. Only took me 25 years of hunting to learn that.
