RE: What do all you bowhunters do for winter fun?
well I will tell ya this, we usually don't get too much of a winter here in this part Va...usually by this time Im catching bass on the James river in my Triton, but this year it has been cold!! and I mean COLD! It was 8 degrees when i got up this morning....it's usually like 35-45 degrees in the mornings and gets up to the 50's in Jan and Feb here, which is a good time to be out and about...this 8 deg crap has gotta go!! usually when it's cold out I will go to the Bass Pro or other stores and find little things to buy or do some Civil War relic hunting with the metal detector..shoot the bow a little, play the kids at home etc..
