Default Coyotes and Ground Blinds

Has anyone tried calling coyotes out of a ground blind? I am not a coyote hunter, but my boy is wanting to give it a go this year. So we are going to head out on Monday and see what we can do. However, with the wind direction, my best option of keeping the wind in my favor will be to set up in a shelled corn field facing the timber. I have a e-call and what I am planning on doing is setting up about 200 yards from the timber in a ground blind, this will provide me with a cross wind that would make it impossible for a coyote to get down wind of me without me at least seeing him. I plan on putting the caller out about 75 yards from me, with a decoy about 20 yards in front of that.

So, does this setup sound like something that could work? I really have no idea, but I know I have seen a ton of coyote out of the ground blind while turkey and deer hunting, so I thought maybe it would work. So you hardcore predator guys, tell me what you think.
