Plenty of snow on the ground shouldn't be a problem finding tracks and then a kill,right? They kill on average 52 deer a year.
i never heard of deer that was tore apart in clinton county other than bears doing it.
as for prints, i saw 1 confirmed cougar print in clinton ,so far with photo.
that is on cougar network site,you can see that.
but i know of no one that has seen cougar track in snow locally.
