Default RE: Mountain lions in PA!

ORIGINAL: bronko22000

I am not saying they are here or not. But I remember a map that was on our camp wall up in clinton co.which showed the location, date and name of the person where a "panther" was shot. As I recall the dates were from the late 1800s to early 1900s.
So cougars were native to PA way back when.
that camp i believe was in fork hill area from what dad told me.

i just cant remember name of camp.

that mr.parucha wrote a book on it ,he is from lock haven.

it had the story interview from local from renovothat saw panther looking in window of camp.

only difference between then and now, that guy shot it looking in window and it was big.

only place we are getting steady reports is the keating mtn area of clinton county.

some of areas light sighting over last 15 years in clinton countyare.

hyner,pa.johnson run
so.renovo,petes run /cranberry
hammersly fork,dutlinger wild life area
beech creek rd/rt144

what all these areas have in common are they are WILDEST AREAS wee have in county too.
