wow....you just spent alot of time and effort telling someone how wrong they are. come up to central indiana wherethere are no hills and each county block is a square mile. so a half mile walkwould put you right in the middle of it.
Again, your ill-informed if you think 1 or 2 coyotes have taught you something about bullet selection
man i would love to be your kid if this is the way you go about helping a beginner out. Did say I knew much about bullets just that the hollow point did some damage.
sorry if your so offended that you needed to typea couple paragraphs telling me how most of my post was ill advised and that i needed to get out more. I just thought it would be cool to see what people are shooting so others could take a look. and if they are like me would like to see what the more experienced guys are shooting so they can become a little less ill-informed.
rammer sweet guns! and skb way to go on the 'yotes!
I had no way of knowing you were a child- you didn't ask for help- you simply posted the same two dead coyotes in a handful of threads and appeared to be another know-it-all-newbie on these forums. My apologies, didn't seeany admission ofignorancein your post... I simply saw
"why I don't use hollowpoints" and
"1/2 a mile in Indiana is a long walk".
As I mentioned, I do hunt central and northern Indiana on a regular basis. Leaving at 2 o'clock this afternoon to spend 3 days in those "1 mile sections" that youv'e described. Much easier hunting, much better shooting up there.
Don't flatter yourself, I type nearly 130 words per minute... so it didn't take much time out of my day to ruffle your feathers. You're welcome for the advice: take it or leave it.
Skb2706- you are correct on the equation of power as it's defined in the dictionary. As for killing coyotes consistantly:softpoints suck.
Here are the only pictures I have of the rifles I'm using this winter- I take picturesof them occasionallyfor the contest featured in this forum and for sponsorship purposes. They're twins... hard to tell them apart!
