Thanks for the tip RR. It's a tough call I guess. In my view the WSSM offerings most closely match the .30RAR. I guess it'd come down to figuring out which one would be around the longest. My buddy is seriously considering doing a conversion like this.

I especially like the .25WSSM ballistics.

Any thoughts I should share with my friend?
