I agree 12% is a small percentage and not a high success rate.
My point being I am one of a few people I know that are consistantly successful at killing bucks, Most years like this one I pass on 5-10 legal bucks through out the archery and rifle season.
I have goals at the beginning of the year and I stick with them, most years I put two or and sometime three guys on bucks during a normal year.
That being said no one shoots doe on my land,I have neighbors with kids and they kill what they want and that is there choice.
I also find it very hard to believe that verymany hunters that start the season with plans of filling a doe tag fail to do so.And I feelthe largest number of doe tags are purchased by those withno intent offilling them.
thats problem, issuing all these tags and hunters like DOUGE legaLLY GETTING 6 DEER IS WRONG.
i could see doe being reduced in areas of too many but wmu2g is not
i still feel in wmu2g it should be 1 deer and your done.
if you got deer in another county, no, you cant get one in wmu2g.
