I hunt at my father's house where I grew up. He has 10 acres total...about 6 woods. That is surrounded by similar tracts. I see more deer in a day on that chunk of land than many see all season.
A couple weeks ago, I could see 31 at one time. About 15 of those were within bow range.
I think it makes it easier to hunt small patches because of what Redskin said. You basically have a couple of choices of where to put a stand depending on wind.
That said...if you have 10 acres to hunt and there are no deer there...those 10 acres really stink. (DUH)
