Default RE: Drop away rest question

Disagree all you want, this IS how it is.[8D]

A Golden Key or Platinum Premeir is still one of the most forgiving designs on the market as far as shooting goes, the problem with them is fletching clearance which robs forgiveness. The Whammy is basically a Golden Key that drops away AT the fletching,so,no contact issues.

The pros toe the line at Vegas with spring steel rest for 2 reasons, reliability(nothing to go wrong) and forgiveness.

Michael Braden was shooting a Limb driver this past year if my memory is correct.

AND,the Boddodle is absolutley one of the best rest EVER.

The ONLY advantage of a dropaway is fletching clearance, that is it.Full containment can be achieved by any type rest.

The Whammy gives all the advantages of the bodoodle and the golden key and still has fletching clearance.

some videos to consider

spring steel nNotice the paradox in this video, the rest is working overtime to keep the arrow going in the right direction instead of dropping when it needs guidance most)
