arrow finish touch-up
I' ve made the jump from aluminum to cedar arrows and have started using a foam block backstop to prevent my woven-wire rag backstop from scraping the finish off my arrows. I can already tell that the foam is starting to wear the finish thin on the front quarter of the shafts from repeated extractions. I was wonder if I could hang them by the knock and give them a light coating of aerosol clear coat like you get at hobby shops to seal model paints, ceramics, etc. Any overspray ought to run off the point. I have no traditional arrow building equipment now, but I' ll probably get into it at some time. Thanks!
