Centerpoint scopes are cheaply madein china I think.The recoil of an air rifle is different than a regular rifle,or atleast a spring piston air rifle,it pushes back and then recoils in the opposite direction at the end of its stroke.You may be able to take the scope back to where it was purchased and get another one,but the results could be the same.I would try for a better scope if I could and see what happens.If you are holding a decent group and it suddenly changes then I would beleive it's the scope!Good Luck!!
