DocE, I went to kettle falls area in 1999 to hunt with the aid of my Uncle who is your nieghbor. He drove me around to various areas most of which were on private land and all the birds we saw were literately feeding on peoples lawns and out in their pastures like the out-of-control Whitetails! It was very frustraiting to watch them and couldn't touch them with a 50 foot shotgun! i'm sure there's some good areas to hunt at but I'll be damned if a local is going to give up his or her honey hole! I since have found much better accessable areas with mostly public land to the west of you in Okanogan Co. near the Loop Lopp Summit area of Hiway 20 and plan on scouting this area next spring again.
