RE: Antelope/Goat/Sheep Rifle. What cailbers do you like?
If both rifles function reliably I will take the accurate one every time.I have yet to have a 700 fail to function in any way.That being said all of my hunting rifles are now customs built on stainless 700 actions with premium barrels and mcmillan stocks.While they cost a little more than my weatherby' s did they are made from better components with better workmanship and are much more accurate.By the way in canada a 700ssbdl runs around $1000 while mark 5' s run from $1600 to over $2000.
