Default RE: T/C Hawken. to buy or not to buy??

ORIGINAL: chetmarks

I am seriously considering buying a new gun. I am leaning towards a T/C Hawken 50 cal but buying 2 green Mountain barrels to go along with it. One in a 1:70 twist and one in a 1:28 twist. This would give me a nice caplock with lots of versatility as it would have 3 barrels. 1:28;1:48;1:70. What do you guys think? It won't take much encouragement to persuade me . Should I do it?

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,no.

that 1-48 twist will shoot a roundball very good and a conical good too.

i can clover leaf my 1-48 twist at 50 yards with roundball or a powerbelt 295.

i would use money for sling, nice case,

replace sight with a RMC v-peep and have gunsmith mount it right in front of the frizzen.

1-48 twistis all you would ever need.

i bet i can shoot as good as the 1-70 barrel twist with rb at 50 yards.

maybe dave or chap can respond to that because they both may have tested a 1.-70 barrel vrs the 1-48 twist.

with a .018 patch, 1-48 is very good shooter on rb
