I am seriously considering buying a new gun. I am leaning towards a T/C Hawken 50 cal but buying 2 green Mountain barrels to go along with it. One in a 1:70 twist and one in a 1:28 twist. This would give me a nice caplock with lots of versatility as it would have 3 barrels. 1:28;1:48;1:70. What do you guys think? It won't take much encouragement to persuade me .

Should I do it?
Yep, 1:28 for sabots, 1:70 for PRB, 1:48 for conicals. Sounds like a good plan to me. Easy to switch barrels with the wedge pin. I would get the 1:70 in a 54.
