We found one spike this year. Last year we found an 8 and a 5, but they were most likely killed by that Blue Tongue disease, it really wreaked havoc last year.

I've had to dispatch 3 injuredbucks and 2 does from bad shots in the last 8 years though. I even found one of the original shooters of one and he told me "the gun is 18 inches to the left but I didn't have time to fix it." What a a**hole.[:@]
DID HE HAVE HIS HAT ON SIDEWAYS, ROTTEN TEETH,SMELL OF CIG SMOKE AND BRAGGING ABOUT GETTING A button buck, YEP, I KNOW THAT HUNTER..............
You nailed it, all but the hat, and add the smell of a hangover with the cig breathe, LOL. His deer that I dispatched is still probably my best shot to date. 150 yards, trotting (trying too anyways), through some seriously thick brush. The guy blew it's front leg off and it was trying to keep up with the deer in front of it, a little basket 4 point.

sounds like you are his brother with a trick shot like that. but i guess that shot you took was allright cause the deer was injured allready?how many of your deer ran off in the past? i imagine quite a fwe from your above post.
Actually I am a crack shot, 2 have walked off out of 36 deer and it was when I was young. I am quite capable of hitting a moving deer and what I did was the ethical thing to do, but nice try to dish on me. My gun's are dead on target before I go to the woods and I've outshot anyone I have ever shot with, 82nd Airborne days included. I know my limitations and a deer with it's front leg blown off trotting through the woods will get shot everytime it occurs in front of me. Me dispatching a wounded deer, difficult shot or not, is not in the same league with some yokel out there hunting with a borrowed gun shooting 18 inches to the left.
