Jan 1st was the last day of the season here in NC and my son managed to shoot his 2nd deer of his life. It was a great seeing how excited my son was after shooting this deer. I just texted my son to meet me at the truck and not 1 minute after he texted me back I hear a shot. As he was climbing down from his stand 3 deer walked into the field and only 2 left. He was using his 30-30 and dropped it where it was standing.
