do you include the weight of the broadhead when weighing? and can an arrow be to heavy? if so how heavy is to heavy like whatgrains per lbs?
You can get a digital scale for around 10 or 15 dolars to weigh the entire arrow. Mine came in at 390 grains and I plan on lightening it up to around 320 grains. That's about all that you need to penetrate a whitetail in order to slice through a couple of lungs and possibly a heart if you have the perfect shot. The only reason I am going lighter however is to gain some more speed out of my Black Ice. If you have a "speed bow" then by all means shoot a 400 grain arrow!
