RE: Difference between a Button Buck and a Doe?
I tend to glass deer as much as I can before taking a shot. I've been fooled too but as luck would have it I haven't pulled the trigger. I look for the bigger does and of course big bucks. I think the bigger deer will act differently that the younger ones. Meaning they are more carefull or not as careless walking out of cover etc.
This year I had a dear walk up under my stand. I thought it was a doe. I knew it was smaller than I wanted to take. I kept looking at it and finaly saw that it was a BB.
I know of no other way to tell than stick to the mature deer....
