I have always shot .308 but if I was to chase a moose I think I might get something else.I can find 180gr rounds for the .308 but would like the added oooomph of a 220 gr round 30-06.

If I get drawn for an ME moose permit this year I will buy a new gun not that I don't think the .308 will do it, but just cause.


PS.. I have been waiting 10 years now for my Moose permit with tons of added draws and still can't get one!!
