Default 1st day of my winter bow

Well today ( 1/1/2009 )was my 1st day of winter bow season.
It was 15 degrees and 18 mph winds. I was able to stick it out for 2hr 15 min.
Saw 3 does and a real nice buck ( 8 pointer or better ), but he went by at about 60 yards and followed the does that took off when he can in.
The afternoon outing was 24 degrees with the same winds. At 3:15 I had 12 does come in at one shot. They milled around for 1/2 hour then walked out. Didn't see anything after that. I always seem to have nice action in this spot and never used any bait.
The last time I was at the tree I climb was Dec. 21st and this rub wasn't there. It is only 20 feet from one of the trees I always climb. You can see how far away it is from my treestand. I have till 1/31/2009 with winter bow and permit shotgun, so hopefully the wife ( she goes also ) and I will connect.
