Gleason, thanks for the reply. When I had the Duramax, I just rubber banded the rod to the side of the stock. next year Im gonna get one of those telescopic rods ROSSI sells, and keep it in my pocket.

Believe it or not the duramax was about as heavy as the laminate, its a chunky kevelar stock, not injection molded.

I really like the way this thing looks now, sorta like a big bore centerfire that I can use in ML sason. All it really needs to be perfect is a trip to Black Ice coating (teflon).
