RE: Which Range Finder?
Just bought a Bushnell Scout 1000 ARC and am very pleased. I will use it primarily for bowhunting but it will be fine for the ranges where I'd gun hunt as well. The inclinometer feature works well, It's crisp and clear and easy to use and the brush mode is great for shooting distance in thick woods.
PS: Cabelas has a bonus pack where they throw in a set of 10x42 binos, a medium quality knife and a realtree DVD all for $299 which is the price for the rangefinder alone anywhere else
