My guess is that 2Robinhood did the right thing and the authorities recognized that by issuing the permit.
The question is whether he told the authorities the whole story. I didn't hear him say that he told the authorities that he took a knife to the deer. I think he is lucky that he didn't get himself hurt while dispatching that deer. A deer with antlers that size is nothing to take lightly.
