Default RE: PA Flintlock / Late archery

Rich,I was only out for an hour on saturday and hunted an area thatI never huntedbefore. In fact,I only ever scouted it one time. That was the most activity I've ever had in Treasure lake.I honestly only see deer about 50% of the time I hunt in there and usually when I see some,it's only one or two at a time.I saw just as many deer on the last day of rifle season in the same amount of time in Sinnemahoning.

The thing about Treasure lake isthat the majority of the deer are in places where you can't hunt. Most of the undeveloped land has very little food this time of year sowe're actually hunting deer densities into the single digits and out pellet counts show that at times and in certain places.A couple places are real hotspots now because some recent logging has occured and the deer are back intheundeveloped areas hammering the fresh tops.
