I got one (my first trail cam) for Christmas as well, looks like a nice camera, not going to be easy to secure, if it's even possible! I hope mine is a "good one", seems some have been flakey and had issues right out of the package.
I'm going to put mine out tomorrow and leave it for a week, when I go back out I'll let you know what I think.
