Well I got a few gift cards for Christmas so I went to bass pro and got my first trail camera. Previosly all of the scouting I was able to do was in daylight hours with my own eyes. I have seen alot of deer this year, but still I really wanted a few trail cams to put up. Anyways last night I go to walmart get me some batteries and an sd card and immediately went and put the camera up on a scrape line that I have been hunting post rut. I knew these scrapes were getting worked on a regular basis and so I stayed pretty consistent on hunting them. Got the camera up at about 9:00 P.M and was pretty excited to see what might happen. I got two pictures of this buck 1 min. apart the other pic his head is kinda turned away and down smelling the scrape so I didnt figure it was worth putting on here. I know he isnt huge or anything but it was the first time I ever used a trail cam and was pretty pumped about even getting pictures.
PS look at the time and you will know why I never would see deer on this scrapeline during daylight hours, waspy suckers.
